Weight
reduction surgery is reported
to reduce your risk from
all kinds of conditions
connected with obesity
including: diabetes mellitus,
sleep apnoea, obesity
associated hypoventilation,
high blood pressure and
serum lipid abnormalities.
In addition a recent study,
showed diabetic patients
who underwent gastric bypass
surgery dramatically reduced
their risk of death. In
fact they were three times
more likely to survive.
